Michael Clements, Manager

A graduate of Kearney State College, Mike is responsible for day-to-day operations of the LRNRD. He has been with the NRD since July of 2001.

Bryan Lubeck, Assistant Manager

Bryan, a 1973 graduate of Colorado State University, oversees collection of data regarding static water level measurements, water quality samples, the LRNRD tree planting program, flow meter maintenance, maintenance of watershed projects, and a wide variety of other assigned tasks. He has been with the LRNRD since 1985.

Shirlee Poyser, Administrative Assistant

Shirlee is responsible for office management, general administration, coordination of meeting times, bookkeeping, accounting, billing and payroll; she is also the recording secretary for the LRNRD Board of Directors. Shirlee has been with the LRNRD since August of 1992.

John Bush, Water Resources Technician

John has been with the LRNRD since 2003 and holds an associate degree in agri business from Central Community College. His duties include reading, verifying accuracy of and maintaining water meters, inspection of chemigation sites, taking water samples and static water level measurements, assisting with site preparation for the LRNRD tree program, and general maintenance and upkeep of various LRNRD projects. John also assists with the Lower Republican NRD Rural Water District.

Gale Dorn, Water Resources Technician

Gale’s duties include measuring groundwater levels each spring and fall, taking water samples, meter maintenance and reading, chemigation checks and various other duties; he has been with the NRD since 2003.

Kristi Coe, Water Resources Administrator

Kristi, who has been with the LRNRD since 1992, is in charge of data regarding wells, water usage and meters in the Lower Republican NRD.

Jo Siel, Information & Education Coordinator

Jo is responsible for cost-share programs including NSWCP, the LRNRD Tree Program, and Corners for Wildlife. She creates the newsletter, along with other informational material, and maintains the LRNRD website. Her duties also include the LRNRD Scholarship Program, Nebraska Range Youth Camp Scholarship, NeRAIN, and assisting with the Water Jamboree and Range & Land Judging. Jo also acts as the Rural Water Secretary. Siel has been employed by the NRD since 2005.

Marcyne Johnson, Water Resources Secretary

Marcyne, a transplant from Colorado, is in charge of the chemigation program and assists Kristi in all areas of water management. She began working with the LRNRD in 2003.

Melissa Schluntz, Harlan Co. Field Office Secretary

Melissa has been with the LRNRD since August of 2005; she provides secretarial support for the LRNRD & NRCS in the Harlan County office, located in Alma.

Based in Franklin, Michelle provides secretarial support for the LRNRD & NRCS in the Franklin County office; she has worked with the LRNRD since March of 2007.

Lynetta Snelling, Webster Co. Field Office Secretary

Lynetta has been providing secretarial support for the LRNRD & NRCS in the Webster County office, located in Red Cloud, since February of 2002.

Joan Perkins, Furnas Co. Field Office Secretary

Joan began work with the LRNRD in September of 2005; she provides secretarial support for the LRNRD & NRCS in the Furnas County office, located in Beaver City.

Carolyn Janda, Nuckolls Co. Field Office Secretary

With the LRNRD since March of 2007, Carolyn provides secretarial support for the LRNRD & NRCS programs in the Nuckolls County office, located in Nelson.
